Hall & Oates
Daryl Hall and John Oates, popularly known as Hall & Oates, are an American pop, rock, and R&B duo that originated in Philadelphia in 1970. Daryl Hall usually serves as the lead vocalist, while John Oates primarily plays electric guitar and provides backing vocals. Together, they collaborate on writing most of the songs they perform. Hall & Oates reached the height of their fame from the mid-1970s to the late 1980s, blending rock and roll, soul music, and rhythm and blues in their distinctive style.
