Ice Cube, born O'Shea Jackson Sr. on June 15, 1969, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, and film producer. He played a significant role in popularizing gangsta rap through his contributions to N.W.A's 1988 album "Straight Outta Compton." Ice Cube's solo career, marked by politically charged albums like "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted," "Death Certificate," and "The Predator," garnered both critical and commercial success. In 2016, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A.
