J. Cole

Born on January 28, 1985, Jermaine Lamarr Cole is an American rapper and record producer. Raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, after being born on a military base in Germany, Cole initially garnered attention for his rap skills with the release of his debut mixtape, "The Come Up," in 2007. He later signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation in 2009, followed by the release of acclaimed mixtapes "The Warm Up" (2009) and "Friday Night Lights" (2010).
