Jeffrey Bruce Atkins Sr., born on February 29, 1976, widely known by his stage name Ja Rule, is an American rapper hailing from New York City. He made his debut in 1999 with the album "Venni Vetti Vecci," featuring the hit single "Holla Holla." Throughout the 2000s, Ja Rule achieved success under Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, previously known as The Inc. His string of hits from 1999 to 2005 includes chart-toppers like "Between Me and You," "I'm Real (Murder Remix)," "Ain't It Funny" (with Jennifer Lopez), "Always on Time," "Mesmerize," and "Wonderful."
