Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real is an American country rock group led by Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson. They have released multiple studio albums and EPs. From 2015 to 2019, they served as Neil Young's backing band, recording albums and performing live. They blend rock, country, and folk genres.
