Otep

Formed in 2000 by Otep Shamaya, Otep is a distinctive American heavy metal band known for "art-house nu metal" and strong political stands. Despite lineup shifts, Shamaya remains the constant force. After Capitol Records, they joined Victory Records (2009) and later Napalm Records. "The God Slayer" released on September 15, 2023, through Cleopatra Records.
