Vanessa Carlton

Vanessa Lee Carlton, born August 16, 1980, is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Her debut album, "Be Not Nobody" (2002), went platinum with the hit "A Thousand Miles." Subsequent albums, like "Harmonium" (2004) and "Heroes & Thieves" (2007), followed. Independent releases, "Rabbits on the Run" (2011) and "Liberman" (2015), gained acclaim. "Love Is an Art" (2020) marked her sixth album. Carlton made her Broadway debut in 2019 in the Carole King musical "Beautiful."
